Aging in Place Guidance

Most of us want to stay in our homes as we age. This includes being able to have the services (or other support) you may require over time as your needs change. But that means balancing health, safety and financial issues with your desire to remain in your home. Planning ahead is always your best option.

How the Wallace Center Can Help

The Wallace Center offers aging in place guidance, where you can learn more about the support, services and resources that are essential for remaining in your home.

Learn more about the community resources that are available along with the aging-in-place organizations that charge an annual membership fee to access a wide range of supports, including transportation, social and wellness programs, access to vetted services and other types of assistance. Some services are included in the membership fee while others are provided by a network of prescreened providers.

To learn more or to schedule a consultation, call 203-862-6710.

The National Council on Aging also has a free online tool that can help you find benefits programs that could help pay for aging in place services. Go to BenefitsCheckUp.org and enter your ZIP code to find out if you can get financial assistance.
